44th Senior Hall of Fame, Dec. 5, 2026

2026 Senior Hall of Fame event

Dear Friend of the Aging Network:

Our Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins invites you to nominate an inspiring person to the Westchester Senior Citizens Hall of Fame. Those selected will be inducted at a festive luncheon on Friday, December 4, 2026, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Westchester Marriott Hotel in Tarrytown, New York.

This year is the 44th Annual Senior Citizens Hall of Fame, one of the Department of Senior Programs and Services' most empowering events, with over 700 people in attendance! It's a wonderful tribute to older adults who have generously given their time and energy to improve the quality of life in our community. Their contributions can be through their professional lives, volunteer work, or both.

To be nominated, a person must:

  • Be at least 60 or older, live in Westchester, and not be a past Hall of Fame inductee (a list of past honorees may be found online at seniorcitizens.westchestergov.com
  • Have made significant contributions to improving life in Westchester County
  • Be an outstanding leader or advocate;
  • Have done professional work that reflects innovative solutions to fulfill unmet community needs (if a nomination is based on paid professional work).

To nominate that special person, please complete the attached form.

If you have questions, please email Jill Sommer Stern at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call (914) 218-3968.

Nomination forms are due by Wednesday, September 9th and will be reviewed by a judging committee.

Please note: A nomination should be submitted once for each person, and organizations and individuals will be allowed ONE nomination only.

Sponsorship opportunities and congratulatory ads in the commemorative journal are available. We invite you to partner with us to honor the outstanding contributions of Westchester's older adults.
